I saw a 98 740 iL with 113k miles for about 11 grand close by me and thought it would be an awesome step up without bleeding my pockets dry. First thing I would want is to put in a navigation system. The main thing I'm worried about it what I should look for and what breaks at what miles. I currently have a 325i and I can tell you everything that goes wrong with them but now I'm stepping into a new realm. Anyone with a 7 that can assist, it would be dearly appreciated.

Well so far so good. The radiator thing I don't think I can ever get used to but if I want to drive a BMW, I might as well grease my ass up and wait for it to crack. Cats sound like an issue but I'll deal with it I guess. Valve cover gaskets I can change myself so that's not an issue either. the car I was looking at was about 11 grand. with 113k miles on it. thanks for the input so far guys
