Bigger pics

As I understand the pic size attachment must be under 50K. When I post a pic bellow this 50K, the imege appears in the forum by far smaller than the ones I see from other members. Where is my mistake?

well, the size (filesize) of a pic is not only depoending on the dimensions (width and height) but furthermore on format and quality. the hiogher the quality of a pic, the more data is needed to safe it. now, reduce it and you can increase height and width accordingly. photoshop for example allows you to choose what quality level to use. so does photoeditor, but you have to serach deeper in the menu for it.

Gusgar, perhaps at a later time we can increase the upload limit. Right now we have a very limited bandwidth and increasing file sizes will eat up most of our usage.

I did it with Corel's Photopaint ant obtained big enough pictures, not as crisp as I wanted but shows most details.

This is what I got Wadula with a 48k file
