I have BMW 745i (2002 end)
As an option i have 2 cordless telephone handsets (siemens) with it. I was not using car for a while, so accumulaters in handsets have discharged, and they lost connection with the base. I have replaced accumulators and tried to log on to base (bind to base), but nothing happens, they ask for an equipment code (default 0000) and then just say "Loggin on" - and nothing happens till timeout. Car base is on. How do i initialise car's telephone base to accept new handsets? Or there is another way to connect handsets to base?
