bmw blues (electrical issuse)

1998 740il.
i am experiencing voltage dips while driving. This is most noticeable with the head lights on. when i apply the breaks or let the window down the lights blink. i replaced the battery and altenator but no difference.
any suggestions?????????

Seems to me to be a ground issue. Check all body grounds and engine ground for good contact and tightness. If you have a sound system with amplifier make sure that your running a capacitor of at least 1 farred.

However i am curious...someone mention that the ignition switch
could also be an issue????? i am not sure about that one.
