Brake disc thickness

I have a 98 740i. Can anyone tell me what the thickness of the brake discs should be for the front and rear. What is the minimum thickness before replacing.

this isnt a 72 chevy you are driving

cutting rotors are a thing of the past, just get new ones and be done with it.

once you start cutting , even with brand new pads the ratio of master cylinder volume to caliper volume will create a spongy pedal and lengthen stopping distance.

just replace the rotors and be done if there is any question
