central lock madness

Hi everyone out there, from sunshine Athens (Greece).
I own a E36 316i/1992 in a very good condition. Lately I am experiencing a rather crazy situation with my central locking. Some times soon after I lock the car, suddenly it unlocks by it self. Trying to fix that I push close the drivers door harder and after several shots eventually locks up. Could anyone pls have a solution to this?

Central locking issue

Hi there,

Your problem probably lies within the door lock actuator... It's probably "seeing" that the door contact isn't closed, therefore not letting the door be locked until the microswitch is activated.
