Looking at buying an E38

I am considering a 2001 E38. Everything looks well, body straight, no engine leaks, and about 77k miles. The only thing bothering me is that the orange led lights in the instrument panel are shot, making them very difficult to read. How much would it cost to repalce it parts new or remanufactured with labor? Maybe I can use this to negotiate the asking price down.
