ABsolutely gorgeous.....congrats....the larger wheels and tires make the car. Someone at work
has one with 16 inch wheels and it looks totally different...nowhere near as ballsy.
Good for you...did you get stick?

I went with the 6-sp, the interior is called Natural leather, but it is not a suede, more of a thick/smooth leather, honestly I have seen nicer leather in other makes, but its pretty good, I do like the 2-tone look of the Nat. interiors...Black dash, carpet & seat backs, but Tan seats & trim features. A very very close 2nd would have been a Black int.

The ordering process is a nice way to go, I would go that route again if asked.

[burnout]

xiGuy..have fun with your new one, I will envy your AWD traction
enjoy [thumb]

Font ends are your friends... (at least on pre-2004 models)... take more pics of the front!!
I will when the cold snap breaks, she is under a naoh cover in the garage. I love the 04 front end, but I like the 2003 and later too, their is a very subtle difference, I compared noses at the dealer before ordering an 04.

Being a major fan of a Pre-2004 facelift... I think there is a major front change. It is not just the notion of raised turners and modded headlights... but the fact that this is the first step away from the "artwork" verion of a 3-series BMW design. I love the LED tailights though.

Disagree - side by side its very subtle.

The 2004 has a more aggressive M3-ish cowl, the 2003 has a more domestic cowl.
Headlights 04 slightly more aerodynamic, but very slight.

But, everyone has an opinion and I chose the 04 also due to the 6-speed vs 5-speed (I love clutch shifting) and I didnt want an almost 1 year old new car.

I've thought that too, but I thought it was just me. My order was placed in February for a 2003, and then in March I found out it would actually be a 2004. I like the new front clip.
