OK then - all chrome is gone now and repainted black (except for the grille), red tail lights painted black and ACS type spoiler installed.
To me looks better than I expected.

The work was done by hauteauto.com in Chicago. As far as I know they sprayed a thin layer of black paint on the tail lights. I really didn't care how they do it, as long as it is permanent (no film, which comes off after time). I just emailed them a picture how I like it done (found another blackened out 7er on iforged.com and really liked the tail lights).

The car looks nice, but would look better with bmwboard.com decals on the side windows rather than bimmerfest!

I like the look of the taill lamps but am not a fan of them. The reasoning is that I am well aware of a motorcycle rider who rearended a car that had black out taillamps. The rider was banged up pretty bad and sued the car owner. MC rider won due to diminshed lighting due to the black out. (should note it was day time, bright sun and the cars brake lights were not visible due to the black out job) Just a note and some thought.

Looks sweet but I have seen what Big Daddy is talking about. just put a neon sign in the back window that says," HEY...I AM STOPPING NOW" and you should be fine.
