Raced? An MB CL 500

It happened on an on ramp to the interstate. This guy in a MB CL500 pulls up next to me at the light to get on the interstate; he looks over at me with a dare you look. The two lanes we were in merge in to one about 150 yards after the light. The light turns green and we both nail it. By the other side of the intersection there was about 1 car length between us and by the time he got to the lane merge there was about 157 car lengths between us. And by the time I got to the merge he was somewhere like the next off ramp up the road. And by the time I merged into the main lanes of the interstate I think he was somewhere like two or three exits up the road.

Oh, by the way, I was driving my Expedition. But I bet I can tow more weight up hill than he can.

I was impressed with his car’s performance, what little I got to see.

FYI hes got so much tourque he could have probably beat you off the lights while towing your car behind him uphill

The thing was just gone I was impressed but that performance sure comes with a price tag.
