35 will be an M3 and then I think 40 will be either a used Ferrari or Bugati. Or maybe an Aston Martin....so many cars, so little time!

I don't think I'm going to get any front end protection, Tom. If I find that I need to take a long road trip then maybe I'll get a bra, but not otherwise. Not a big fan of how they look.

Don't knock the Mustang, flashinthepan - it's the only car in the garage I can truly fiddle with - everything else is too computerized!

I hate to get side-tracked here, but I really feel that front end protection is over-rated. It's not worth hiding the front of your car...if you see scratches and stuff, then just use a low-grit wax and cover them up.

Elussive,

Yeah, I've never been a fan of the front end bras and stuff either. I always thought they looked stupid, and didn't really understand what the point was. I mean, it's a car, right? It's meant to be driven, right? Well, some stone chips and stuff are gonna happen, because it's a car. However, if you saw what 230,000 miles did to the front edge of the hood on my E30, you might reconsider front end protection! [?|] I still would rather get a few scratches here and there than drive around with a bra on the front of my car - they just don't appeal to me.

By the way Beemin, I love the car. I'm a sucker for metallic blue like that, and I really like the rims. Have fun with it! [driving]

Again... couldn't agree more. Those bras piss me off. What good does it make to preserve your front end if you NEVER get to look at it!!!!!!!!!!!!!????????????? Apparently, it's useful only if you're selling the car..., 'cos you ain't looking at your beautiful front every day... maybe only when you're washing it. Makes no sense to me...

Yeah, I could not stand the fact that the front of my car is covered up by a car bra. I mean, people aren't gonna look at it and say it's weird or anything, because everybody knows what it's for and blah blah blah, but I could never ever cover up my G35C like that.
Has anyone seen the Mischief 3000 DVD, featuring the Gumball 3000 Rally or something like that? One guy's car, he takes a Ferrari 360 Spider across the US (which is the point of the rally) and at the end of the front, the entire front end was white !! The coat of red paint was completely gone, down to the primer coat or whatever it's called. Anyways, the owner thought nothing of it and explained how he just had to get the front end re-sprayed or whatever...I guess in a situation like that, a front bra would be useful...but I like this guy's style, he had the balls to tough it out. [:p]

We drove the vette to Bowling Green from Arizona for an event and bought a bra specifically for that drive. Really don't know what damage might have been done if we hadn't - but I can tell you how much damage was done because of the bra rubbing against the car. Will NEVER do that again... [?|]
