I was on my way to the movies.. and moving along about 80-85mph.. i noticed a black mustang inch along side me (with a little snake on its side).. well the causeway was just ahead, going from Portland Texas to Corpus Christi, and it is a nice straightaway.. I was in fourth.. and doing about 85 when i decided i would see what i could do.
I smashed the gas pedal in as hard as i could.. left gas in all the way as i speedshifted into 5th.. was way ahead of 130 here.. rpms getting closer to about 7500 i decided it was time for six and i toped out at 155/156 and could not see the cobra for the life of me..
Did i beat this guy? or was he scared? I dont know as I lost him after fifth gear..
his guy looked like he was in either a 98 or 99 cobra.. i dont know much about fords as I dont like them anyway.. all the same though.. i was glad to waste his ass...
