I have a rebuilt transmission in a 1988 735i manufactored 3/87 with a M30 engine. I have the opportunity to buy a 1994 740i with a transmission that is slipping for $3,000. Can I use the transmission from the 1988 735i in the 1994 740i? Also about how much should it cost to do the change?
