2004 740il wiring

I have a 2004 740 il and am putting a k40 radar detector and need to locate an ignition wire. All I can find is constant 12v wires or ones that pulse as if it is a data wire. If anyone can help please do. thx [nutkick]

not sure where your universal remote is, but if its in the headliner by the sunroof, you should tap into that. there's a diy for a 3er and valentine one hardwiring. not sure if the kits are similar or not.

just a casual observation.

Im pretty sure thats what it is I have it at my shop putting the equipment in it. Thats what is says on the back why?

Unless it is in another country than US, then it might be a different model?
I think Europe has 735Li, doesn't it?
