740 iL. CD no discs keeps coming up?

I have the original 6 CD player in the 98 740iL and i have discs in all of the available slots. For some reason it says "No Discs" on the center console display. I've tried a bunch of things but no workee. Any ideas out there?

Mine would do this on occassion, have you made sure they are right side up? Try removing them and reinserting the disc.
