Can anyone help me select new shoes for my 740IL Sport.
Ordered Goodyears (due the good reviews) from Tire Rack on Oct 20...
On backorder..sheduled for Oct 31st...Just found out they are moved out to Nov 17.
Running outta time and tread....may have to cancel the Goodyears & reselect..
FYI:
OEM set were Michelin Pilot SX..lasted 26K...ride & wet/dryhandling good and noise fair.
2nd set were Michelin Pilot SX..stickier, great handling, same ride, but louder, 22K life.
3rd set..Bridgestone SO3's....good handling, rough ride and very noisy in 2nd 1/2 of life. Only lasted 15K Miles...ouch.
Ratings on the Goodyears very high and price is right...but if you can't find them....well can't drive on slicks showing cord forever.
