i have a 97 540i that is a CA emisions car. the right catalytic converter is bad. dealership says that there is no difference in the 97 540i CA emisions from a 49 state emisions. does anyone know if this is true? and should i go with a $80 aftermarket cat or $1600 BMW OEM cat? thanks alot
