Check Engine

I read awhile back about resetting "idiot lights" and error codes but I can't seem to find the thread. So my problem I'm having is this, I need to 1) reset my oil change indicator. 2) reset my check engine light and 3) My air bag light. I'm sure the check engine is a tune up but funds are low. The post said something about shorting pin 7 to ground. Where would I find pin 7 on a 97 328i.

oh yeah, for whatever reason i was dropped from the system and just decided to re-register
