I finally got the 740!

2000 740IL, It has 79,000 miles, it's previous owner did a lot of highway driving. The brakes and rotors were replaced and the front control arm bushings replaced. I tried to get him to replace the belts, but I couldn't, so I'll have to get that done. What other thing should I replace?

Congrats! Wouldn't hurt to change the plugs, wires, and tranny fluid too.

Congrats! I definitely agree with Tom...also definitely use a bottle of that STP Fuel Injector Cleaner; it gets rid of hydrocarbon build-up (and other crap) on the fuel injectors. There is also an oil treatment you should definitely look into.

Does the 2000 740 engine have wires? I think it has an individual coil for each cylinder.
