Preferred 7 series

Does anyone no the preferred 7 series of choice by the numbers Im kind of torn between 740i sport and 740il sport, some say the IL is to long but im not sure what looks better. looking for a little advice.

How many people do you carry normally? Do you have kids? I bought my IL because it has an enormous amount of leg room.

I was a passenger in an iL for a decent sized trip, and I gotta say I'm all about the limo-esque iL. It's like having a family room in the back seat. Plus, that long wheel base just oozes luxury IMO.

There's 6" difference between the il and the i. IMO the i looks much better - the il just looks so long - too long. There is plenty of leg room in the i. I owned a 95 740i.

I own a 95 740I. I have not had any complains about the leg room in the back seats. My son is 6'2" and he is O.K. If the front seats were moved back all the way, a person who is taller than 6'2" could feel cramped.

I have an e32, 750iL and love it. I am a big guy and would not ride in the back seat of most cars, but the iL's adjustable back seat is awesome, and the ride is nice being extended out makes it super smooth.

love my iL.....the leg room rocks and the reclining back seats let my daughter sleep on our 300+ mile trips to the lake house, that really makes the trip better for everyone.

plus the long limo look makes is just stunning at 100+ mph

okay heres what we got, we got a 2000 BMW 740iL, now this isn't a normal 740iL it has about a foot to a foot and half of footroom in teh back seats even when you can strech a 5'10 guy fully stretched out in the front seat, i dont know what it is called, how I can tell the car apart becuase it has a hidden antenna, unlike all the other 740iL which have shown antenna's...anyone want to help me out and tell me exactly what I got?
