Right indicator permanently flashing

Hi All,

I recently had an accident where my right indicator light was damaged- the car since undergone repair and a new indicator has been fitted. Only problem is the right indicator permanently stays on while the car is on...any ideas as to:

1. What could be the problem?
2. Whether this may be related to the accident or the garage hasn't repaired it correctly (because then I can claim the cost back from them).

I would say that it is most likely a result of the accident and or repair (as I assume it worked fine before?), tell them to fix it.

sounds like an electrical socket or relay problem. a competent auto repair place should be able to troubleshoot and figure out where it's tripping and fix it.
