thermometer freaked out

just got done flushing and changing the coolant in my E32 750IL

when I was done the thermometer feature in the on board computer is freaked out showing crazy numbers and "searching" for the temp running the full range from -35 to +140 and every temp in between

anyone ever deal with this?

My temp gauge was doing that and the thermostat ended up being cracked in half. But i'm sure it's just a wire malfunction or something that sends a signal to your comptuter.

How can I disable this wire? It's really annoying!
