I'm new to this forum and I don't drive a 7......yet! That will be my next ride, so I'm getting started early. I think the 7 is the sweetest looking car on the road and it has been my dream car. However, I'm still dreaming and as soon as the money fairy awakes me I'll start my search.
I'll be in market for a 740I Sport or an IL with sport wheels.

I have a question for you owners. Does the sport package come on both the IL and the I? I've seen I's with the sport package more than IL's and I was just wondering.

I hope to be sharing some info with you guys soon......one day........I hope.

what year of the 7 series do you want to get? Quite franckly the new 7 is a piece of crap...
id go with the older ones..

I can't afford a new one, but I would be very happy with a 98-2000 model.

Looks like a 1997-2000 740i Sport is what you may be looking for as a first time buyer. The 7 series is a great driver and very comfortable ... not knowing your price range this is the best info I can offer.

I have a 91 750iL and love it. She has tons of power for a big car, rides great and still handles well. Sure it is not my M roadster, but then again the roadster is not comfy for long trips.
